Higher Dimension is dedicated to bringing men, women, and children into the family of God,
developing Disciples of Christ by equipping saints for Church service and taking missions
to the world while demonstrating love toward God and our Fellowman.
At Higher "D" our vision is to create a Spirit-Filled environment where believers can acquire
the necessary stills, develop the Right attitude, and learn Godly wisdom. We recognize that
in the Kingdom of God we are nascent saints. We have not arrived to our utopia, but like
the Apostle Paul in Phillipians 3:14, we are pressing toward our higher calling. We believe
God will continue to compel his saints to go a dimension higher in prayer, faith, giving,
worship, service and praise.
A native Houstonian, Pastor Johnson is known throughout the country as a premier
preacher with extraordinary gifts in biblical exposition, interpretation and proclamation.
He is a graduate of American Baptist College in Nashville, TN where he received
a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Sociology. He is currently matriculating at Southwestern
Baptist Theological Seminary pursuing a Masters of Divinity.
In early 1997, Pastor Johnson received a call from God to organize
Higher Dimension Church. April 4, 1999, Higher D and its 29 founding members held its first worship
service. Over 500 individuals were present to witness this monumental celebration.
God has continued to enlarge Higher Ds territory at a phenomenal rate. Currently,
a membership of over 9,000 saints gather each Sunday to worship. In December 1999,
the church purchased 6.64 acres of land to erect a $4 million dollar edifice. One
year later, Higher D burned the mortgage for the land. Under Pastor Johnson's leadership,
Higher Dimension has continued to be an awesome display of what the Lord can do
through consistent commitment, courage and continued prayer.
Houston recognizes Pastor Johnson as one of its top leaders. His thrust as a community
pioneer in the redevelopment of impoverished areas is geared to meet the spiritual,
social, physical and economic needs of its people. A true visionary for change,
Pastor Johnson has implemented what he refers to as a 5-Fold Vision. The first phase
includes the church at 9800 Club Creek, T. H. Johnson Ministries, which provides
audio and video resources as well as scholarships to high school seniors in pursuit
of higher education and NXL Inc., the community redevelopment arm. This faith-based
initiative will provide family living, recreation, career development and counseling.
Helmsman Management Group will provide internal as well as external business consulting
services. Lastly, the implementation of Higher Learning Academy, an educational
facility providing Christian Education for children pre-school through 12th grade.
Pastor Johnson believes the key to ceasing the revolving doors in churches today
is spiritual commitment and personal involvement. He has committed his heart and
life to Jesus fully. He has compelled other young adults not to settle and to take
their prayer, faith, giving, worship, service and praise to the next level. He encourages
believers to acquire the necessary skills and develop the attitudes that promote
spiritual growth and Godly wisdom.
Pastor Johnson has been chosen and recruited to be the Chair of Religious Affairs
and sit on the Executive Committee for the Missouri City/Fort Bend Vicinity of the
NAACP. Pastor Johnson will be serving in an advisory capacity to bring vision for
this chapter. Because of his ability to reach the younger generation, Pastor Johnson
has the potential to be one of the nations most recognized chairman.
Pastor Johnson is married to Torsha Johnson. Together they parent four children,
Terrance Rotorrian, Thailan Howard, Theophilus Jeron and Tirzah Leumas. Pastor Johnson
has strong family values and believes the church is only as strong as its families.
- Pastor J began hosting Truthful Tuesday on Majic 102 with Candi Eastman November
2006. The radio show airs each 1st Tuesday @ 11:00am.

- Pastor J began his internal Talk Show titled "Pastor J Presents the Answer Talk
Show" where he gives the answer to lifes questions which began September 2006.
